In fighter aviation. 1. Establish a cash reward for fighter pilots for each downed enemy aircraft in air combat in the amount of 1000 rubles. 2. In addition to the monetary award, the fighter pilot is presented with: - for 3 downed enemy aircraft to the government award; - for the next 3 downed enemy aircraft - the second government award; - for 10 downed enemy aircraft - to the highest award - the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. 3. For successful assault operations against enemy troops, pilots are rewarded and presented with a government award: - for performing 5 sorties to destroy enemy troops, a fighter pilot receives a cash award of 1,500 rubles; - for the performance of 15 sorties, a fighter pilot is nominated for a government award and receives a cash award of 2000 rubles; - for completing 25 sorties, a fighter pilot is nominated for the second government award and receives a cash award of 3,000 rubles; - for completing 40 sorties, a fighter pilot is nominated for the highest government award - the title of Hero of the Soviet Union and receives a cash award of 5,000 rubles. In all cases, the results and effectiveness of the assault operations must be confirmed by the commanders of ground units or intelligence. 4. For the destruction of enemy aircraft at airfields, fighter pilots are awarded and presented to the government award: - for the successful completion of 4 sorties to destroy enemy aircraft at its airfields, a fighter pilot receives a cash award of 1,500 rubles; - for the successful completion of 10 sorties during the day or 5 sorties at night, a fighter pilot is nominated for a government award and receives a cash award of 2000 rubles; - for the successful completion of 20 sorties during the day or 10 sorties at night, a fighter pilot is nominated for the second government award and receives a cash award of 3,000 rubles; - for the successful completion of 35 sorties during the day or 20 sorties at night, a fighter pilot is nominated for the title of Hero of the Soviet Union and receives a cash award of 5,000 rubles. The results of combat operations on enemy airfields must be confirmed by photographs or intelligence data. Pilots who used an enemy aircraft ramming in air combat are also presented with a government award. The number of downed aircraft is established in each individual case by the testimony of the fighter pilot at the place where the downed enemy aircraft fell, and by the confirmations of the commanders of the ground units or by establishing on the ground the crash site of the downed enemy aircraft by the regimental command.
