Kawasaki Kokuki Koge Kabushiki Kaisa Year of foundation of the company: 1918. Before gaining independence in 1937, it was an aircraft building division of the Kawasaki Yukoge KK concern.
Lead Constructors: Takeo Doi, Shin Owada, Izamu Imashi, Shiro Ota. Location of factories: Akashi, Kagamigahara, Ichinomiya, Miyakonoe, Tutami, Takaiuki. Major developments: Ki-45, Ki-61, Ki-100 fighters, Ki-32 and Ki-48 bombers, Ki-56 transport aircraft. |
