Carl Clemens Bücker
(1895-1976)

Carl Bücker served in the newly created naval aviation units during the First World War. After the end of the war, he moved to Sweden, where he participated in the aircraft building program for the Swedish Navy. In 1923, Bücker founded the Svenska Aero AB company in Stockholm, of which he remained director until 1932, when the company merged with ASJA. After returning to Germany, Bücker founded the company "Bucker Flugzeugbau G.m.b.H." in October 1933. in Johannishtal (a suburb of Berlin).

At the end of 1935, part of the production was transferred to Ransdorf, where new production facilities were built. Bucker created a number of sports aircraft, his Bucker Bu 131, Bu 133 and Bu 181 aircraft were quite well known in different countries at that time.
