(Rus)  This famous photograph of 21 Squadron Mosquito jacked up and firing into the butts, taken on 19 December 1944 by James Jarche of Illustrated, was set up especially for the photographer by F/L Good, Armament Officer at Thorney Island. Mosquitos of 464 and 487 Squadrons remainded at Thorney Island until December 1944, while 21 Squadron did not join them on the Continent until February 1945. (via Les Bulmer)
